Skilled Residential Carpenter

Red House Remodeling is looking for experienced, detail-oriented Skilled Carpenters to join our design-build team in the Des Moines metro area. • Execute residential remodeling projects, including kitchens, bathrooms, additions, basements and whole-home renovations.
• Perform layout, framing, trim work, cabinetry installation, door/window setting and custom finish carpentry with high attention to detail.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, designers, trade partners and homeowners to keep projects on schedule and up to our strict quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe job site while respecting our clients' homes.

• Experience: 3+ years of professional residential carpentry or remodeling experience.
• Craftsmanship: Strong expertise in finish carpentry, framing, cabinetry and general remodeling trades.
• Problem Solving: Ability to read plans, trouble-shoot existing home conditions and take accurate measurements.
• Tools & Transport: Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and a core set of hand and power tools.
• Professionalism: Strong communication skills, a positive attitude and respect for clients and team members. You must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screening, strong preference for non-smokers.
